Osteopathic Manual Therapy
Facilitating health and restoring the self-healing and self-regulating abilities of the body
About me
Hello! My name is Gregory Napier and I'm a graduate at The Canadian Academy of Osteopathy where I studied as a principles-based Osteopathic Manual Practitioner and received my Masters in Osteopathic Manual Sciences (M. OMSc). Before Osteopathy, I completed my bachelors in Microbiology at Wilfrid Laurier University, competed in multiple powerlifting competitions, and played sports such as hockey and football.
I discovered osteopathy simply by searching for a career path that I could pursue to help others in finding their way towards health and balance. Osteopathy's holistic approach of improving overall functionality to assist the self-healing systems of the body caught my eye immediately and I was hooked ever since.
My goal with therapy is to give a specific treatment to each individual that aims to remove imbalances, improve mobility, and promote healthy neurovascular function. Treatment is focused on removing the cause of the issue, not the effect. Whatever the issue might be, treatment will always be gentle in order to calm the nervous system so that the body can take on any adjustments that have been made with ease.
I look forward to meeting you and feel free to contact me or visit the FAQ page for any inquiries you may have about the profession of osteopathy and what it can do for you.
